Party leaders and members in Okitipupa and Irele of the All Progressive Congress, APC, on Tuesday unanimously adopted Amb. Kolawole Akinmosun as their consensus candidate for the party’s House of Representatives primaries scheduled for May 19, 2022.
The party stalwarts who received Amb. Kolawole at the party secretariats (Both in Okitipupa and Irele respectively) all passed a vote of confidence on the leading aspirants for the House of Representatives seat.
They all agreed to support the Irele born Businessman, adding that Kolawole Akinmosun is an embodiment of a true born legislator and he’s the only aspirant than can effect the change Okitipupa and Irele are yearning for.
Akinmosun, while presenting his expression of interest form and nomination form to the party leaders, assured them of an effective representation if elected.
Kolawole reaffirmed that his primary motive for contesting is to reduce poverty drastically, provide good employment opportunities to youths, ensure the health care system is prioritized and also attract projects and investments to the constituency.
