Senate President, SUG President boycotts SJC proceedings.
Amidst expectations The much awaited case against the SU President filed by the caucus of Law held today. The SU President and Senate President failed to enter an appearance, with only the welfare director showing up to defend his case. The Counsel for the plaintiff’s moved a motion to proceed with the case on it’s first hearing which the court granted, and three witnesses were examined including the welfare director concerning the sale, and several findings was made known. A Supeona was also issued against the Senate President and the SU President to appear at the next adjourned date.
Meanwhile SRC sitting disrupted.
The SRC held a sitting today, starting around 4pm, tensions were on ground when the issue of Sale of Bus and the case against the Senate President was voted by the whole house to be included in the agenda for the day. After the whole issue was discussed and dragged a motion was moved that the parties involved in the sale of the bus without approval should issue an apology and alongside accounts of how the whole proceeds of how sale should be spent. On opposition of this motion by another senator, the tension began to rise among observers, one of which walked up an attempted to hijack the Maze, before the maze bearer escaped with it, and the whole house was thrown into pandemonium. All hands remain crossed on new developments.
